KENT, Ohio – Megan Carter had 21 points and 10 rebounds for her first career double-double as Kent State defeated Miami, 80-75, on Senior Day Saturday afternoon inside of the M.A.C. Center.
The visiting RedHawks took their first lead of the day, 75-74, on a Peyton Scott jumper in the lane with 1:14 to play, but the Golden Flashes (15-10, 8-6) scored the final six points to complete a season sweep of Miami.
Sophomore Lindsey Thall put Kent State right back in the lead with a pair of free throws after being fouled on a drive to the lane with 48.
