Miami, Ohio – The Kent State men's basketball team (12-3, 2-0 MAC) used a last-minute comeback to edge past Miami (6-9, 0-2 MAC) 69-66 to win its sixth consecutive win.
Neither team was able to get a grip on a lead with 16 lead changes and nine ties. The Golden Flashes struggled to get rebounds and only shot 29 percent from the three. Miami was able to get an edge on the Flashes outrebounding them 35-to-32 and forcing 17 turnovers.
With the Flashes struggling, offensive leader, Sincere Carry took matters into his own hands scoring a game-high 31 points.
