KENT, Ohio – Freshman Sean Callahan Jr. tied the Kent State Field House men's 60-meter dash record in his collegiate debut on Saturday, as the Golden Flashes recorded nine event victories at the season-opening Jud Logan Memorial.
After running the fastest time during prelims, Callahan Jr. posted a time of 6.67 seconds to win the finals and tie the facility record set in 2017 and tying for the second fastest time overall in Kent State history.
Freshman Amryne Chilton also started her career as a Flash with a win, crossing the finish of the women's 200-meter dash in 24.
