KENT, Ohio – Kent State couldn't overcome frustrating starts to both halves of a 76-67 loss to the University at Buffalo on Friday at the M.A.C. Center.
The Golden Flashes made just one of their first 10 shots while going 0-for-4 from three-point range and falling behind by 12 points to open the game. After battling back to tie at 34-34 at halftime, the Flashes struggled to go just 1-of-8 from the field and fall behind by double digits again early in the second half.
Too many missed layups helped to keep KSU (10-5, 1-1) from finishing off another comeback.
