Mobile, AL... On Tuesday, the Kent State men's golf team closed out the inaugural event of their spring season with a seventh-place finish at this year's Hal Williams Collegiate.
The Flashes gained a spot in the final round to pass Davidson and Texas State, thanks in part to the stellar play of Cade Breitenstine, who finished individually in a tie for ninth.
"We got off to a slow start on day one," KSU head coach Jon Mills said. "The conditions were very tough and we started Tuesday strong but weren't able to keep it going.
