GREENVILLE- The Kent State Golden Flashes finish their weekend at the Keith LeClair Classic with a 6-5 win over the Indiana State Sycamores.
Starting pitcher Jacob Bean delivered a quality start en route to his first win of the season. The sophomore pitched six innings of one run baseball while striking out four Sycamores.
Offensively Hayden Jatczak continued swinging a hot bat for the Flashes going 2-3 on the day with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Kent State jumped out to an early lead scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning thanks to RBI singles by Jatczak and Brody Williams.
