KENT, Ohio — Junior Jenna Batsch scored a career-high 25 points during Wednesday night's Play4Kay game to leads Kent State to a 70-57 over Western Michigan at the M.A.C. Center. Batsch made a career-best nine field goals on 14 attempts and tied career-high marks with four three-point field goals and three blocked shots.
The Golden Flashes (13-6, 7-2 MAC) used their size advantage to outscore the Broncos 40-18 in the paint and lead 40-26 in rebounding. Freshman Janae Tyler and sophomore Tatiana Thomas led the way around the basket.
