CLEVELAND – For the second time this season, Kent State senior Jenna Batsch has been selected as Mid-American Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
The Scholar-Athlete of the Week Award is presented to a MAC male and female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during that week's competition. The winners are selected by a representative of the MAC's Faculty Athletics Representatives (FARs).
Batsch averaged 29.0 points per game in a pair of victories as the Golden Flashes extended their winning streak to five games.
