YPSILANTI, Mich. – Ayden Bath leads the heptathlon field by more than 300 points after the first day of competition at the 2024 Mid-American Conference Men's Track and Field Championship.
Bath busy recorded personal-best performances in the 60-meter dash (6.98), long jump (23'-6.25") and high jump (6'-7.5") to place first in each event. He finished second in the shot put (40'-6.25") and totaled 3,193 points for the day. Andrew Adragna (2,533) and Mason Murphy (2,480) are also in contention to score points and sit fifth and eighth, respectively, with three events to be held on Saturday.
