CLEVELAND – Kent State student-athletes Ayden Bath and Alex Shields were recognized for their outstanding performances this past weekend at the Doug Raymond Invitational with Mid-American Conference Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Bath posted the No. 5 heptathlon score in Golden Flashes history and won the event with 5,407 points, which ranks 23rd nationally and is more than 400 better than any other MAC athlete this season.
