KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University baseball team (18-18, 7-6 MAC) improved to a .500 winning percentage on the season, slugging past Canisius (19-19, 12-3 MAAC) 10-1 at Schoonover Stadium Wednesday evening. The Flashes tallied 10 hits on the night and Pavin Parks launched his sixth home run of the year to spark the offense.
Three Flashes recorded multi-hit games on the night while Parks led the team going 2-for-3 with two RBIs, two runs and a walk. Redshirt sophomore Ben Carew also collected a pair of hits with two RBIs and two runs scored while sophomore Michael Turner notched two RBIs for the Flashes.
