BUFFALO, NY- Junior Danny Pippen scored Kent State's final nine points, including a banked-in three and six consecutive free throws in the final minutes as the Golden Flashes came from behind to end their three-game slide with a 70-66 win at Buffalo on Friday night.
Pippen scored a game-high 20 points on 6-of-13 from the floor and 2-of-7 from 3-point range. Pippen was perfect from the charity stripe going 6-of-6.
Senior Troy Simons added 16 points, while sophomore Anthony Roberts scored nine. Senior CJ Williamson had a productive night on the boards grabbing a team-high nine and had four steals.
