TOLEDO, Ohio- The Kent State men's basketball team rallied from a 21-point deficit, beating the Toledo Rockets, 83-70 for the season sweep on Tuesday night at Savage Arena.
Kent State improved to 15-6 overall and 5-3 in Mid-American Conference play.
Senior Troy Simons scored a career-high 25 points on 6-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-8 from 3-point range while grabbing five rebounds.
Senior Antonio Williams added 21 points with four assists and four steals, while junior Danny Pippen recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
