NOBLESVILLE, Ind.- The Kent State women's golf team won its 21st-straight Mid-American Conference Championship, tallying a season-best final-round 274 Sunday at Purgatory Golf Club. Junior Karoline was crowned tournament champion after a tournament total of 5-under 211.
At 7-under for the tournament (305-278-274), the Golden Flashes won by 18 strokes over second place Toledo and 19 shots over third place Northern Illinois. The Golden Flashes, who have won every championship tournament put on by the MAC, had all scorers finish in the top-5.
Junior Karoline Stormo set a second-round MAC Championship record with her 7-under 65 score.
