MANHATTAN — In response to a question concerning one of the young players in the defensive secondary after last Saturday’s Iowa State game, Kansas State coach Bill Snyder complimented the performance of Kendall Adams.
Snyder added a comment that was half serious and half in jest: “I can’t remember who’s back there.”
It has been a revolving door in the K-State secondary, which was set in motion the opening game when senior strong safety Dante Barnett was lost for the season with a shoulder injury.
“It was terrible to lose Dante the first game because he’s the best player on our defense,” Adams said Tuesday.
