K-State’s women’s golf team finished the first 36 holes of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in sixth place, but they dropped four spots to end the tournament.
The Wildcats did not fare well in the third and final round Tuesday. Going into the round, the women had team scores of 300 and 299. The final 18 holes did not improve for K-State as the team shot a 323 and finished the tournament in 10th place out of 13 teams.
“We did not play well today,” K-State head coach Kristi Knight said to K-State Sports. “It was not the way you want to finish.
