Women’s basketball win ‘tug-of-war’ matchup

Tug-of-war is a game which really lets us know who wants it more. Who can work harder to gain a better advantage? Well tug-of-war is just the term that one might use to describe K-State’s women’s basketball season opener.

Kaylee Page recorded her first non-exhibition minutes in a Wildcat uniform on Friday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The debut was a spectacular one for Page as she led the Wildcats with 21 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a block in route to a 75-67 win over Tulsa.

The game was back and forth early on in the first quarter as K-State got shots to fall early and worked an 8-0 lead on the Golden Hurricane in the first four minutes of the game; five of which came from Page.
