Wildcats to open home schedule

Kansas State baseball coach Brad Hill said his team did a lot of learning during its first eight games.

The Wildcats went 4-4 in that span, but now they’ll look to build off that start as they open their home schedule with a three-game series against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Friday at Tointon Family Stadium.

Friday’s matchup is set for a 3:05 p.m. first pitch, while Saturday’s game is slated for a 2:05 p.m. start. The series will conclude on Sunday with a game at 1:05 p.m.

The games will open a stretch of 17 home games in March, with just one game away from home against Creighton.
