Wildcats sweep past Baylor

After suffering through a four-match losing streak, the Kansas State volleyball team swept Baylor to get its first conference win of the season Saturday night at Ahearn Field House.

The Wildcats beat Baylor, 25-20, 25-10, 25-23.

The win was a season opener of sorts, as the Wildcats had yet to host a game at Ahearn after playing the Varney’s Invitational earlier this month at Bramlage Coliseum. A crowd of 2,400 K-State fans piled into Ahearn to watch the sweep.

“The crowd was unbelievable,” head coach Suzie Fritz said. “It’s so nice to be back home… I’m so thankful to the K-Stater’s.
