Christmas came early for Kansas State on Saturday with Iowa State’s Mike Warren and Joel Lanning sharing the role of Santa Claus.
K-State scored 10 points in the final 42 seconds after a pair of Cyclone turnovers to finish an improbable fourth-quarter comeback and give the Wildcats a 38-35 victory at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
“Maybe we are getting a break or two that we haven’t gotten in the course of the ballgame, or the year,” K-State head coach Bill Snyder said. “I was awfully proud of our young guys, hanging in there, not giving up and playing hard.
