GOODYEAR, Ariz. — All five members of the Kansas State men’s golf team carded under-par scores in Saturday’s final round of the Desert Shootout in Goodyear, Arizona, to help the Wildcats secure an eighth place finish.
K-State tied its top team round versus par of the spring season with a 7-under 281. The Wildcats’ 54-hole score of 15-under par 849 marked both the best team round versus par and best overall gross score since the team’s 23-under par 841 at the Desert Shootout on March 21, 2014.
The Wildcats had three golfers post 2-under rounds on Saturday, including junior Matt Green, who finished in a tie for 15th place at 7-under par 209 for the weekend.
