It was the big win the K-State volleyball team has been waiting for and needed this season.
The Wildcats knocked off the Iowa State Cyclones in three sets Wednesday night inside Ahearn Field House and are now in third place in the Big 12. The Wildcats have won six matches in a row and are 9-4 in conference play.
“I think we have gotten a lot better and it’s a wonderful feeling as a coach when you feel like you’re making improvements,” head coach Suzie Fritz said after the match. “I think sometimes that’s hard to do late in the season, but this team just keeps getting better each day and they have grown in their confidence.
