The Kansas State track and field team closed out its outdoor regular season with seven first-place finishes and several other marks by former student-athletes at the Ward Haylett Invitational at the R.V. Christian Track on Saturday.
“This weekend we were just having some people do something things so they could stay sharp,” head coach Cliff Rovelto said. “There were also a couple of cases where some people did some things for the first time. There were some good marks in the meet. I felt like for the most part we accomplished the things that we wanted to accomplish.
