Sometimes seeing is believing, or at least that’s what Kansas State women’s basketball coach Jeff Mittie hopes is the case for his Wildcats.
The second-year head coach told his squad following a loss at West Virginia earlier this month that he believed it was it was a good basketball team, despite the 20-point loss.
Mittie saw the good things that were taking place, though they weren’t always leading to points on the scoreboard. He also knew his team wouldn’t truly believe him or see for itself that it was a good team, until it backed it up on the court with a win.
