Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington will be the destination for the K-State women’s golf team in their first tournament since tying for third place last week at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Missouri. This week they will be competing in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational.
The team finished strong last week as they were at one point tied for 11th place, but then battled in the final round of the tournament and ended up taking third as a team. They showed great persistence and poise to go from 11th to third in a day, but now it’s on to the next one for the Wildcats.
