Maybe it just takes some time to shake the dust off the clubs and get back into the swing of things. Despite practicing during the offseason, it was the first time the K-State women’s golf team had played since October.
The Wildcats traveled down to Tallahassee, Florida, to begin their spring campaign at the Florida State Match-Up at the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course and Club.
The downward spiral for the Wildcats started during their first round.
K-State’s five golfers added up for a 21-over-par team score of 309. They finished in 10th place out of 12 teams.
