KANSAS CITY, Mo. — K-State women’s golfer Chloe Weir carded a 12-over to finish 11th at the Kansas City Shootout at the par-72, 6,124-yard Shoal Creek Golf Club.
Weir carded three-straight rounds of 76 to finish with a 54-hole total of 228, the best score among all players in the field competing solely as individuals.
“Today’s conditions were certainly the toughest of the three rounds,” K-State assistant coach Stewart Burke said. “This was a solid week for Chloe, and although she finished just outside the top 10, there is plenty to build upon going forward.”
Weir’s 11th-place finish marked the best of her career and first top-20 finish.
