In the only item that qualifies as proper Kansas State sports news, head baseball coach Pete Hughes announced another addition to his staff. Cord “Buck” Taylor has been hired as pitching coach for the Wildcats. Taylor was head coach at Palomar Community College for the past 14 years, and in that time, the school has sent 21 pitchers into professional baseball, including four in the Major League.
