Washburn coach Bob Chipman saw a three-game homestand as an opportunity for the Ichabods to start heating up from the perimeter and build some offensive consistency.
The Bods have accomplished that goal by the end of the homestand, placing five in double figures and canning 10 3-pointers in an 80-70 win over Central Missouri on Wednesday at Lee Arena.
“We've been in a streak where we just haven't shot the 3 well, and it's cost us,” Chipman said. “And other teams have been really lighting it up from 3. Tonight it was kind of how I envisioned us shooting it here.
