There probably isn’t another player on Kansas State’s roster that has experienced more high highs and low lows on a football field than Jack Cantele.
The senior kicker was a rising star his sophomore season when he connected on 11 of 13 field goals, earning Cantele a spot on the Lou Groza Award watch list entering his junior season.
Cantele made six of his last seven attempts to end the 2013 season, including a 41-yard shot with three seconds remaining to beat TCU. The Wichita native made four field goals in all that night and was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
