Stan caught us up on the nasty hit Jordy Nelson took on Sunday from Giants Cornerback Leon Hall. Hall went in for the hit on the former Kansas State WR while he was in the air trying to make a sideline grab.
Nelson would never haul in the pass and the ensuing hit was made with the crown of the helmet directly made into Nelson’s ribs. Hall was not flagged, he should have been. It was an illegal hit to a defenseless receiver.
As today has gone on, concerned Packer and Wildcat fans alike have been seeking updates on Nelson.
