MANHATTAN — Tre Harris, who was dismissed from the Kansas State basketball season at the conclusion of the season, will transfer to Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.
Harris, a 6-foot-5 freshman guard, announced his decision on Twitter. It will be a homecoming for Harris, who is from Edwardsville and will be playing for his uncle, Jon Harris, who was named head coach April 6 after previously working as an assistant at Cal-Berkley.
Harris averaged 3.8 points in 21 games at K-State, starting one game.
He was dismissed from the team as were Marcus Foster, who is going to Creighton, and freshman Malek Harris, who has not announced his plans.
