Peyton Williams is accustomed to a busy schedule of high school classes, sports and other extracurricular activities at Topeka’s Cair Paravel Latin School.
She found time for one additional task Wednesday, signing a letter of intent to play basketball and volleyball at Kansas State.
It’s a unique situation, playing two sports at the Division I level.
“It’s been a lot of hype,” said Williams, who committed to K-State a year ago during her junior year at Cair Paravel. “People are really excited for me and excited that I stayed local. There’s been a lot of talk trying to figure out how it’s going to work playing both sports.
