Somewhere hidden in the comedy of the movie “Caddyshack,” Kansas State coach Bruce Weber thought there was a good lesson for sophomore forward Dean Wade.
Wade averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game last year, but he wasn’t always consistent. He didn’t always find his way into a groove.
Weber said Wade needed to find a way to get into a flow like Chevy Chase’s character, Ty Webb.
“I joked with (Wade) this summer, I asked him if he’d ever seen Caddyshack and Chevy Chase when he gets up to putt,” Weber said. “I told him to go watch it.
