The K-State baseball team handed it to Arkansas State yesterday afternoon at Tointon Family Stadium as the Wildcats defeated the Red Wolves, 12-6, in the rubber match of the three-game series.
Despite a close first five innings that saw the lead change on three occasions, it wasn't until the sixth inning that the Wildcats took the lead and never looked back.
"Today was good," said Wildcat head coach Brad Hill after the game. "We swung the bats well, and I thought there were some well-hit balls.
