By now, we all know. It’s far from a secret.
Bill Snyder will forever be labeled the architect of the greatest turnaround in college football history, and for good reason. We all know that, too.
But if Snyder has an Achilles’ heel, it’s been bowl games: since shedding his retirement coat in 2009, he’s 1-5 in such games. He went 6-5 in his original stint in Manhattan, though, which adds up to a 7-10 overall record in bowl games.
He has a chance to tidy up that mark Wednesday, when his Kansas State team takes on Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl in Houston.
