Patrick Mahomes came out firing, and finished the first half with 261 yards and two touchdowns. His favorite receiver was Devin Lauderdale, whom he hit for seven completions, 81 yards and a touchdown.
Running back DeAndre Washington also hurt the Wildcats, rushing for 151 yards and two scored on 10 carries. One of the touchdowns was an 80-yard sprint.
