This Saturday, on Senior Day in Manhattan, Bill Snyder could win his 200th game as the head coach at Kansas State. That it may come against arch-rival Kansas will make it that much sweeter.
Snyder thinks Kansas is showing a lot of improvement under David Beaty. Indeed, he credits the upset win over Texas to that steady progress, noting the 20-point spread in that game didn’t make sense to anyone paying attention to football in Lawrence (clearly not a reference to actual Kansas fans). — Ken Corbitt, Topeka Capital-Journal.
For his part, Beaty was willing to wait a day or two before he dampened the excitement over Kansas’s first big win this season.
