MANHATTAN — Bruce Weber is taking the glass-half-full approach.
With Kansas State mired in a three-game losing streak after an 86-80 overtime home setback to TCU on Wednesday, the Wildcats face their toughest three-game stretch of the season: At No. 2 Baylor on Saturday, a Big Monday home date against No. 3 Kansas followed by a trip to No. 7 West Virginia.
“You have a great opportunity ahead of you,” Weber said Thursday on the Big 12 coaches teleconference. “You can do something really, really special. Obviously, we have a tough challenge in front of us with three top-10 teams in eight days but if you take advantage of the opportunity you can do something special that probably no one else has done.
