Streaking Wildcats to face No. 5 Texas

It was Bramlage Coliseum and not the traditional home for Kansas State volleyball in Ahearn Field House where the Texas Longhorns — then No. 2 in the nation — swept K-State earlier this season.

Since that point, the Wildcats have yet to feel the sting of defeat, as they’ve rattled off six wins in row. Now everything comes full circle as they head down to Austin, Texas, on Saturday to take on the fifth-ranked Longhorns.

On Wednesday, K-State ensured a top three matchup in the Big 12 after they handled Iowa State in its 12th sweep of the season, giving the Wildcats sole position of third place in the conference.
