Just in this morning, we’ve got some big news that doesn’t directly affect K-State, but could make some waves in college football in general. The University of Connecticut announced this morning that the Huskies have cancelled their 2020 football season. Not postponed, not delayed — cancelled. UConn was already short four games on it’s schedule thanks to other cancellations and conference schedule decisions, and is in a state currently experiencing a COVID bloom. Also, this was agreed to after the athletics department conferred with the student-athletes involved, who supported the decision to cancel due to health concerns.
