K-State’s magical season comes to end this weekend when they travel to take on the No. 3 Baylor Bears. K-State is one game behind Baylor in the Big 12 standings but a weekend sweep for the VolleyCats will catapult them to a solid second place to end the year. Whether they finish second or third (which they’ve secured no matter what happens this weekend) it will be their highest finish since winning the Big 12 Championship back in 2003.
With any postseason volleyball postponed until the spring, this will be this young teams last chance to shine in 2020.
