This academic year just gets worse and worse for Kansas State Wildcats.
After the football team did wonderful things like suffering their worst-ever loss to Iowa State and putting in a record-breaking lack of performance against Texas, the Wildcat basketball team seems bound and determined to do them one better.
Last night in Waco, they did.
At the Ferrell Center, Baylor Bears annihilated the hapless Cats in a 107-59 rout which saw four Baylor players hit double figures and 11 different Bears on the score sheet. The only Cat in doubles was Nijel Pack with 11, and the only moment of the game that was even remotely pleasant was at the halftime buzzer when Antonio Gordon banked one in from half-court to cut the Baylor lead to 28.
