K-State Sports released part one of a two part Q&A with head coach Bruce Weber as the WeberCats start to get prepared for the upcoming season. Part one mostly focuses on the schedule, how the program is dealing with the pandemic, and preseason workouts and developments.

K-State has been by-far the better in-state program for the last three decades, but that doesn’t stop high school kids in the state from dreaming of playing in Lawrence, or of at least wanting attention from the other big school in the state. And that’s why for so many of the Kansans on the K-State roster, the Sunflower Showdown just means more.
