We learned yesterday that one of the most entertaining players to don the Jayhawk football uniform in more than a decade, tailback Pooka Williams, has opted out of the remainder of the season so he can be closer to his family in Louisiana. Williams says his mother is battling health issues, and we sincerely wish him and his family only the best.
