K-State basketball fans got some more bad news concerning sophomore forward Montavious Murphy on Thursday. In his weekly radio show, head coach Bruce Weber confirmed that Murphy will be out indefinitely thanks to a surgical procedure on his knee. The surgery will likely sideline him for the rest of the season.
Weber did mention that the other three injured or Covid-sidelined Cats (Antonio Gordon, Kaosi Ezeagu and Luke Kasubke) would be back sooner rather than later. Gordon should return next Wednesday versus Iowa State, Ezeagu could be back next weekend versus Texas and Kasubke could make his Wildcat debut a couple of days after that on Jan.
