After another huge weekend, including a huge save on a penalty kick against Baylor to preserve the tie (and another shutout), Kansas State goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer has earned her second-straight Big 12 Goalkeeper of the week award. Werremeyer, who became the first Wildcat to earn two honors for goalkeeper, leads the Big 12 in saves (64) and saves per game (5.82), and has carded three shutouts this season.
The Wildcats resume action on Thursday, with a two-game trip in the Sooner state. Thursday night the Cats will face off with Oklahoma State at 7pm, and can be seen on Big 12 Now on ESPN+; while Sunday’s 1pm match against OU can be seen on Bally Sports Oklahoma.
