Slate: Lady Cats roar back with a home win over No. 22 South Dakota State

K-State fans rejoice because someone is playing good basketball in Manhattan, Kansas. After a rough loss versus Idaho State just a few short days ago, the Kansas State women were rejoined by star sophomore center Ayoka Lee and triumphed in a wire-to-wire 62-53 upset of the No. 21 South Dakota State Jackrabbits.

The win was the first top-25 win for the Lady Cats since their 2019 win over No. 15 Texas. Lee led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds, nearly a double-double, followed by double-digit efforts from junior Christianna Carr (12) and junior Rachel Ranke (10).
