With the exception of our opening item, everything in today’s Slate is straight outta the SID’s office.
In the new polls released yesterday, the big winner was Notre Dame, while USC and Michigan were the big losers. But one other team suffered a loss yesterday, and that’s the Oklahoma Sooners. Following their close call in Manhattan, the Sooners lost a slot in the AP poll as the Fighting Irish hopped over them.
Heehee.
Oh, and the Big 12 now has five teams in the AP poll, thanks to the entry of a certain outfit from Ames.
