For the fourth times in five games this season, Wildcat sophomore Emma Malsy kept a clean sheet as Kansas State Wildcats finished their brief two-game weekend road trip to California with a 0-0 draw against San Jose State Spartans. Malsy recorded six saves throughout regulation and overtime. The Cats had a chance to get the lead when Katie Cramer missed a penalty kick in the 28th minute, but it went wide of the left post.
The Cats (3-1-1) will return home for a Friday night contest against UMKC. If you’re holding a ticket to Saturday’s game against Mississippi State Bulldogs or if you bring a canned food item, you can get a $3 ticket.
